No, the Far Right is not holding power in New Zealand

I never could have imagined I’d be devoting time to writing an article defending NZ First. I’ve never voted for them, and can’t envision doing so. When I saw this piece by Ben Mack, a New Zealand Herald columnist and associate editor of Villainesse in the Washington Post I was unable to resist. The article is rife with dishonesty and misinformation, yet many international readers are likely to trust Mack as a locally-based, presumably informed, journalist.
